The long awaited, and much anticipated,
Dunbarton
Arts and Gardens Festival returns for its annual
heralding of Spring. The four day festival takes
place over two weekends, May 1-2 and Mothers Day
weekend, May 8-9. Thirty plus juried Artists
and Artisans gather to show and sell their works
at the home-based business of Dunbarton Arts and
Gardens, a seasonal garden center and sculpture
studio. Exhibitors display both inside the
studio and outside in tents among the gardens.
Beautiful flowering plants and organically
raised vegetable plants will be available. There
will be live music and food.
Now, in it's fifth year, the Dunbarton Arts
and Gardens Festival is attracting a wide range
of high quality artists and artisans, many of
whom belong to other juried organizations. While
the majority of exhibitors reside locally the
festival is attracting folks from Maine,
Massachusetts, and Vermont. The word is out that
this small, yet unique, festival is becoming a
well attended yearly event.
The
festival takes place on Route 13 in the center
of historic Dunbarton, NH, at the home
of Patricia Dooly Murphy. The hours are Saturday
10:00-5:00 and Sunday 10:00-4:00. For more
information and a list of participants please
