 The long
awaited and much anticipated sixth annual
Dunbarton Arts and Gardens Festival returns for
its annual heralding of Spring. The four day
festival takes place over two weekends, April
30th and May1st and
again Mothers Day weekend, May 7th and
8th from
10:00 to 4:00 all days.
Over
thirty fine artists and artisans offer their
works for show and sale. This unique art
festival takes place at Dunbarton Arts, a
private home and sculpture studio on Route 13 in
the center of historic Dunbarton NH.
Exhibitors display both inside the sculpture
studio and outside among the gardens where live
music is played throughout the four day affair.
Among the exhibitors are sculptors, painters,
potters, jewelers, bakers, and glass and fabric
artists. Locally raised alpaca wool, all natural
personal care products, organically raised
vegetable plants and beautiful flowering plants
are also offered.
This
small but unique festival showcases high
quality, talented artists and artisans from
throughout New Hampshire and New England. Making
it a well attended yearly event.
